Cold Climate Advanced Technology ACC Installation

Project execution is currently underway for a cold climate AT-ACC installation located in Saskatchewan, Canada. The 360-megawatt (MW) natural gas plant will utilize a 14-cell AT-ACC in a unique arrangement to minimize the plot space required.

eco-Air Modules installed on Elevated Structure

EVAPCO Dry Cooling supplied both the eco-Air fin fan coolers and the structural support steel for a Power Station project located in the Midwestern United States. Elevated designs can be used when plot plan is limited. Our experienced team of engineers and designers can help create custom solutions for even the most challenging products.

Adiabatic Cooling Options

Adiabatic Cooling Options can be used when water is available to assist with the cooling process. For this project located in the Northern United States, wetted pads were installed at the inlet of seven eco-Air modules to depress the inlet dry bulb temperature. EVAPCO Dry Cooling also offers a stainless-steel spray system which can be used in lieu of pads.

Modular Barge Transport

EVAPCO Dry Cooling is supplying two 18 cell Advanced Technology™ Air Cooled Condensers utilizing the unique modularization design features of the Advanced Technology ACC.  The unique features of this project include assembling large modules of duct, and heat exchanger/ fan assemblies off site in Texas & Kentucky.  The large modules have been floated to the jobsite where they can be installed as one large assembly.

Domestic and International Projects

Ten (10) single stack eco-Air ACHE Modules installed at grade level with 10-ft of spacing between units for a project located in Central America. Challenging plot plans and limited space availability is no issue for the variety of options that EVAPCO Dry Cooling has to offer!

Escobedo and El Carmen

In 2017, EVAPCO Power received “Iberdrola’s Best Vendor Award” for the supply and construction of twin  Air Cooled Condensers (ACCs) for the Noreste Escobedo and El Carmen 2 x 888 MW combined cycle projects in Monterrey, México. They are individually the two largest ACC’s ever built in Latin America. EVAPCO Power also received a safety award for contributing to 1-million accident free manhours at the Escobedo jobsite.
